Legos
In our technological society, today’s
manufacturers and workers need to be able to design, engineer and manufacture
new technologies and products using creativity and innovation. America has always been a leader in
this area, thanks maybe, to toy manufacturers that have brought us “thinking toys” like: Tinker Toys,
Lincoln Logs, Erector Sets and LEGOS. Generations now have acknowledged the
educational benefits of these toys/tools. Learn how to design and engineer
projects with Mr. Kovach using LEGOS in Engineering 101 with LEGOS. In this 5-week Science Technology program
students will learn to use design illustrations to create projects using
LEGOS. Something for all levels of LEGO lovers!

This year's event will be a celebration and thank-you to our Capital Campaign donors, who are making it possible for our organization to do some much-needed improvements and additions to accommodate our ever-growing program without using a dime of general budget money. Everyone in our greater Lowell area is invited to come and hear about the wonderful service assistance our organzation provides people in their time of need -- food, utility and rent assistance, summer lunch program, backpack program, tax preparation and more. Currently, we are in the process of adding self-help programs for our clients, such as job search skills, financial management and computer training.
